Obviously not my best week.  Based on previous figures, these bad runs will happen, but they will be overcome by good results later in the year.  Winning at this game is all about surviving the losing runs.  If you can have the patience and money management skills to survive the losing runs, then you will still be with us during the good times.

A quiet Saturday saw 4.50 Units out with a Nil Return.
  • Caulfield R1 #6 Testability 1.75 Units win – 4th
    got its head up when over-racing in the early stages. Laid in in the straight.
  •  Caulfield R7 #4 Second Bullet 1 Unit Win – 4th
    raced wide without cover. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities and a swab sample was taken for analysis.
  • Sunshine Coast R8 #5 Diamond Oasis 1.75 Units win – Unplaced
    Raced wide without cover. Made contact with another runner over the final 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be stepping short in both forelegs and to be lame in the off foreleg. A veterinary clearance for the horse will be required prior to its next start.
