Not his best movie 🙂 but the title sums up yesterday. One of those days when you place good bets, but they don’t win. Random Variance, Luck, Chance ….. they are all the same thing. You are not going to win every bet, but as long as you are betting to value you will win in the long run.
21 the movie was on TV last night. I love that movie, it is a great gambling movie. In the movie they lost because the main player lost control and stopped playing the system and started gambling. In real life the MIT teams lost all of their money back to the casinos, through Random Variance (or chance or bad luck). As smart as they were, and they were geniuses, they hadn’t set their staking strategy and bank to cover an abnormally long losing streak. Losing streaks will happen, but as long as you have a staking strategy and a bank to cover such losses, you will win in the end.
Champion Bets had a $90 bet on Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (to beat David Goffin) at $1.63, that lost. The Big Bash League (BBL) match didn’t hit any bonuses and lost $20. There was a $50 NBA bet that lost, through Daily Profit Sportspunter service. And I had a shot at the Palmerbet promotion, but it missed and lost $4.14.
$662 staked for a loss of $164 (-25% POT)
